If you are
looking for a sensational evening of entertainment you will definitely want to
attend the Cape Breton Chordsmen: Harmony Invasion Show at the Savoy Theatre in
Glace Bay on Sunday November 16th. The show will feature the Cape Breton
Chordsmen's the only male Barbershop Harmony Group in Cape Breton, who will regale
their audience by celebrating the 50 anniversary of the British invasion of the
pop music, with songs from the Beatles. An evening of popular tunes of the 60’s
and 70’s along with audience participation is guaranteed to take you down
memory lane. The theme of the night will be carried throughout the evening by the
Chordsmen ‘s special guest performers, the Breton Songbirds and Godsent and Quattro.
The host for the evening will be Steve Sutherland of CBC Information Morning. The
performance will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased at the
Savoy or from any member of the Cape Breton Chordsmen. This should be a super
evening of music and entertainment and the setting is perfect. I love the ambiance
that the Savoy adds to all its productions.
