7pm  - 9pm -  Mel Farrimond famous Halifax musician entertains on July 25th. Her career began in Scotland, but she has since moved to Nova Scotia and makes frequent tours throughout North America.

Wednesday Night Racing: Club members welcome visiting sailors (and would be sailors) to join us on our boats, or on your own vessels, for our classic Wednesday night run around the buoys. If you would like to be part of the race team during the race, come to the St. Peter’s Marina before 5:30pm on Wednesday and ask Gordon Kerr to set you up with a Captain who will take you out.

Join us for coffee, tea, treats and conversation each Wednesday, 10AM until noon, at the St. Georges Channel Hall. A good opportunity to meet and swap stories with neighbours, summer residents and visitors.

7:30pm – 9:30pm -4th THURSDAY of the month is BAND JAM. Pub Band Jam Get your band together, or grab a few mates and start jamming. You can bring your own instruments or make full use of the in-house drum kit, PA system, electric guitars and acoustics. We want to hear some rock and roll. And folk, bluegrass, funk, punk, soul, reggae and everything in-between.Get down here, put your name on the list, kick back with a brew whilst you watch the other bands them get up and rock the house. 3 songs per band. Starts 7.30pm. FREE. - At the Groundswell B&B and Pub in D'Escousse.

There will be a Friday Night Jam session from 8pm to 10pm held at the St. Peter's Lion's Marina in St. Peter's on a Friday night this summer, please come out to our acoustic jam session. All players are invited to join in, and listeners are welcome.

7am - 10am - L'Ardoise Acadian Festival Breakfast held at the L'Ardoise Community Centre. Admission is adults $8.00 and children under 11 years of age $4.00. Lob Ball tournament continues at 8am. 10am - Children's Parade - doll carriages, bikes etc. takes place at the L'Ardoise Clinic Parking Lot. 11am - Acadian Baking at the Jolly Club in L'Ardoise. Free admission, children of all ages are invited to participate in baking an Acadian Cup Cake. 12:30pm - Blessing of the fleet, at the Chapel Cove Wharf. 2pm - A Merchandise and Lobster Bingo held at the L'Ardoise Community Centre. At 4pm take in a Acadian Meat Pie and Seafood Chowder Supper held at the L'Ardoise Community Centre, admission is $10.00.

11:30am – 4:30pm - Sand Castle Art Contest at Pondville Beach in Pondville. Registration opens at 11:30am with judging at 4:30pm. Prizes for Castle 1st: $100.00 2nd: $75.00 and 3rd: $50.00 and for Sand Sculpture- 1st: $100.00 2nd: $75.00 and 3rd: $50.00. Bring your own tools and equipment (such as a good shovel, buckets to carry water, spray guns for misting, carving tools, food and drink and sun screen).

11am – 2pm - Every Sunday in July the Dundee Resort and Golf Club will be having BRUNCH.

8am - 12pm - Last Sunday of the month there will be a Brunch at the Lion's Den in  Louisdale.

8am – Lob Ball Tournament Continues. 8am – 5klm Fun Run, walk or crawl takes place at the L’Ardoise Community Centre grounds. Donation is an item for the food bank. 11am – 1pm -  A delicious Turkey Dinner at the L’Ardoise Community Centre. 10am – 4pm – Artisans Sale at the L’Ardoise Community Centre.1pm – 4pm – 6pm - Bounce A Rama and Klusky the Clown at the Parish grounds. 2pm to 4pm – Outside Entertainment at the Festival Grounds. 2pm – 6pm – live entertainment on the deck of the Community Centre. Cash Bar available. Must be 19 years to attend. 2pm – Festival of Floats.
