Come Out and Celebrate Canada's Fab Forts!

This information has just arrived on my desk from the Fortress of Louisbourg.
Sounds like it could be very interesting.

Fab Forts Weekend at the Fortress of Louisbourg-
August 19th-21st.
Free for Veterans and Members of the Canadian Forces and their family!
In celebration of the 300th anniversary of the first stone fort in Canada, for Chambly, Parks Canada will be having a nationwide celebration of Canada's historic forts and all historic sites across the country.
On August 19th through to the 21st, many Parks Canada sites will be holding special events. A highlight of the weekend will be a coast to coast Parks Canada 100 gun salute, employing historic artillery, beginning at the Signal Hill, Newfoundland and ending at Fort Rodd Hill, British Columbia.
Schedule of Events for the Fortress of Louisbourg:
August 19th- 2:30pm. Drumming demonstration and announcement of the new drumming school 'Ecole des tambours'.
August 21st-1:30pm. Review of the colours and five artillery shots (as part of the coast to coast Parks Canada 100 gun salute.
