The Winners Are Announced for the 1st Annual Paddeling/Kayak Races which took place on June 21st at Chapel Island (Potlotek)

The 1^st Annual Paddeling/Kayak Race took place in Chapel Island (Potlotek) yesterday. The event grew paddlers from around the area and here is a list of the winners.

Men's Kayaking 1st place went to Gordon Kerr and Women's kayaking 1st place went to Eva Jung. Men's 1st place doubles went to Eberhard Witt and Ingo Vollmer, Women's double 1st place went to Jocelyn Marshall and Blayne Murray, Women's double 2nd place went to Annie Doucette and Olivia Isaac, Men's double 2nd place went to Joe Nicholas and Norman Isaac, Men's double 3rd place went to Elijah Bernard and Kyler Johnson, Women's double 3rd place went to Lynn Boyce and Monse Galiado –Point of interest- Monse Galiado is an exchange student from Mexico living in Sydney. Congratulations to all the participants who took part and to the Anita Basque for all the hard work she put into organizing   this new tourism event. Paddlers are already looking forward to next year’s event.
