An Evening of Celtic Music
If you are looking for a traditional event which includes Celtic music, look no further. The Cape Breton Gaelic Society will present an Evening of Celtic Music at historic St. George’s Church, 119 Charlotte Street in Sydney on Tuesday night, September 28 at 8 pm.
The concert will feature Cape Breton style fiddle music, step dancing, Gaelic and Celtic song, Highland piping, and Celtic flute. For the first time this season we will be welcoming Heather Sparling of the Cape Breton Orchestra on flute as well as singer-songwriter Jo-Anne Rolls. Jo-Anne, a former CBC Atlantic songwriting contest winner is perhaps best known for her performances with the Rise and Follies of Cape Breton.
Tickets will be available at the door, ticket cost. $10.00.
