Village on the Canal Documentary
This summer I had the opportunity to do on camera what I do on a daily basis, talk about St. Peter's and what the visitor should see while they are in our beautiful and historic area. Paul Bernard of Bernard Production Company was in the historic Village of St. Peter's in August to do a documentery on what a lot of us and visitors is one of the most beautiful locations on Cape Breton Island. He wanted to capture the essence of the village and why visitors find it so appealing.During the documentery Paul spoke to Rhoda Gillet of the Bras d'Or Lakes Inn, Judy Madden of Nicolas Denys Museum, Sarah Sampson of the Wallace MacAskill House Museum, Marion MacLeod-Stone of Glad Tidings, Gerry Gibson of The St. Peter's Marina and myself at the Destination Cape Breton Visitor Information Centre, and got our impressions as to why visitors come to the area.
