St. Peter's townfolk turnout for Christmas concert
St. Peter's Pre-school studnets entertain
Highland Dance Troupe perform
Folks got into the festive spirit at the Christmas concert held following the Official Tree Lighting in St. Peter's on Friday night. The St. Peter's Fire Hall was packed as folks came to take in the annual Christmas Tree Concert. The crowd was entertained by locals including students of the St. Peter's Pre-school and the young Highland Dance Troupe under instructors Jenifer Landry and McKayla Mathews. Representitives of Nova Scotia Power were on hand for the Christmas Light Exchange Program. The program had a lot of people take the opportunity to exchange the old fashioned lights for LED lights. At the concert there was quite a bit of excitement as kids were treated to hot chocolate and candy canes as well as a special appearance by Santa Claus, who spent some time with the tiny tots.
