With the colder weather approaching, those who enjoy the great outdoors will be looking for activities that are available in the local area. Richmond has some great hiking and all terrain trails located throughout the county where locals and visitors can go to enjoy the fresh air and get lots of exercise. In St. Peter's walking trails can be found in the Battery Provincial Park as well as the Old Railway Bed Trail that runs along the Bay bordering the Village of St. Peter's as far as River Tillard. For those who enjoy skating Richmond has the answer for a great skating location. The Richmond Arena is a great spot to go and skate no matter what the weather is outdoors.
