Looking to take in a Community Festival? The community of River Bourgeois always have lots of activities, music and great food as part of their summer festival. This year’s festival takes place between August 25th and September 1st. Below you will find a full schedule of events, so come on out and be part of a great time!!!
2013 Festival Schedule

                                            35th Annual River Bourgeois Festival

August 25th- September 1st, 2013

Come out and enjoy the festivities as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the rebuilding of our beautiful lighthouse.
In commemoration a plaque will be placed on the lighthouse to symbolize the 110th anniversary of its original construction and the 10th anniversary of its reconstruction.
This plaque is dedicated in memory of the lighthouse keepers from 1903-1967:

We are asking all members of the community to participate by decorating their lawns in a nautical theme!

Craft making and a Nature Scavenger Hunt. First prize will be awarded to the person who finds all items on the list in the least amount of time. Rain or shine at the Tara Lynne Community Centre. $2 per child.

1:00 – 3:00pm Cardboard Boat Races
Build your own boat from cardboard and duct tape and race it in the River. Materials will be supplied. Recommended for children 7 years and up . Must be accompanied by an adult and have your own lifejacket. $10 per boat.
