A Whale of a Tail or Two
If you are looking for an experience that will surpass your expectations then you will definitely want to head up to the Cabot Trail and book a Whale Tour. This season has been exceptional for whale sightings, it is unusual to see all the varieties of whales come in at the same time. Operators of Wesley’s Whale Watch out of Cheticamp and Pleasant Bay reported that in May and June it was not unusual to go out on the boat and see all four types of whales and dolphins in the same area, just amazing. Oshan Whale Watch operators located in Bay St. Lawrence reported Monday, that they have been seeing Pilot, Fin, Minke and Humpback Whales as well as dolphins while out on the tour in the Bay St. Lawrence area. Can you imagine anything more exciting than seeing these amazing creatures as their massive fins rise up out of the waves , close enough for you to get an incredible picture to show the folks back home.
