Warm up race
Skippers’ meeting at Lions Marina: 1300 hrs
Race start: 1400 hrs
This race will be held on a triangular buoyed course within view of the lake end of the canal.
Saturday, July 31
MacDonnell Cup Race Sponsored by the MacDonnell Pharmacy
Skipper’s meeting: Lions Marina 1000 hours
Race start: 1200 hrs
This race starts and finishes between the committee boat and buoy Q49,at Carter’s Cove on the St. Peter’s Inlet. The course of approximately 15 nautical miles proceeds onto Bras d’Or Lake and rounds the Kelly Shoal buoy (Q 35) to starboard then returns to the start/finish line. All are invited to the awards presentation and a barbecue hosted by the MacDonnell Pharmacy, at the Lions Marina, shortly after the race ends.

Skipper’s meeting: Lions Marina 1000 hours
Race start: 1200 hrs
This race will use the same course as Saturday’s race.After the race, join us for the awards presentations and our annual,and always eagerly anticipated, chowder supper.
