Monday was very busy at the St. Peter's VIC. We are seeing a daily increase in visitors from around the world. Richmond's roving entertainer Kayla Bona stopped in at the VIC to entertain visitors waiting to obtain information on the Richmond area. A family from Northern Canada desided to come to Cape Breton to treat the kids to the sights. They were gathering information on the Fortress of Louisbourg and the Cabot Trail. While at the Centre they took a few minutes out to listen to a couple of fiddle tunes from Kayla and have their photo taken with the young entertainer. Kayla also played a lively number for a couple of out of province visitors who joined in with a dosey-doe and two step, out on our deck, great sports for sure. On Tuesday the day got of to a fast pace as 57 members of the Bourgeois Bus Tour from Quebec stopped in at the Center to get information on the sights in the local area and pick up information on Halifax, before heading on to Peggys Cove. The Nicolas Denys Day Festival brochures has arrived at the VIC, anyone wanting to obtain one can stop in at the Centre. We are also registering teams for the Ball tournment, War Canoes and Geo-cashing events, so give me a call to register your team at 535-2185.
